Tour Operations Policy

  • Check-in time at most of the hotels starts from 0730 hours to 1200 hours.
  • Please note that our Tour Executive will be awaiting you holding a placard with your name written, at the exit gate of the Veersavarkar International Airport.
  • If you are arriving by ship, the same procedure applies as above at the harbour.
  • Tour Itinerary will be advised to you by our Guest Relations Executive after arrival. Tour Itinerary may be shuffled without prior notice because of holidays, inclement weather conditions etc.,. However all the sight seeing spots mentioned in the itinerary will be covered.
  • The vehicle used will be exclusive for that group but will not be at its disposal. It will be provided as per contract & will change sector wise. Extra charges are applicable for the vehicle used apart from the itinerary.
  • The Tour Itinerary is made a day or two prior to your arrival and will be advised to the respective driver by our Operations department. Drivers will adhere the same and no alteration is permitted by the drivers.  In case an alteration being necessitated due to weather change as mentioned above, it can made only by the Operations department and the same will be advised to you.
  • As the vehicle & drivers keep changing, we request you to take diligent care of your personal belongings throughout the tour.
  • We make contingency plans so that the sight-seeing and tour itinerary do not fall on a closing day.
  • Most of the sight-seeing spots listed in the Port Blair City Tour remain closed on Monday and other Government holidays.
  • Ships sail for Havelock at 0630 hrs, 0900 hours, 1230hrs and 1400 hrs and return from Havelock the same day at 1400 hrs and 1600 hrs. Ships belong to the Andaman & Nicobar Government Administration. Sailing of ships aboslutely depends on weather conditions.
  • Due to inclement weather conditions that may occur at Port Blair, some of the sight-seeing spots can be visited but may note be suitable for snorkeling, due to less or nil transparency of water. At some other spots, live coral which can be viewed through from a glass bottom boat could be affected owing to rain or  overcast weather. Light & Sound Show conducted in an open-air amphi-theatre  in the Cellular Jail too, is totally dependent on weather conditions.
  • There will be no refund of any unutilized service in part or in full, what so ever may be the reason.
  • Check - out time of the hotels in the Havelock Island is 0800 hours and the return ferry for Port Blair is available only by 1600 hours. So you will be requested to check out in the morning and spend time in the lobby or in the nearby beach till the departure time. However, you can request the hotels for late check - out and the hotels will do the needful, subject to availability of  rooms. If you need guaranteed late check - out, then you have to inform us in advance and the rooms can be provided @ 50% discount, subject to availability.
  • Check - out time of the hotels at Port Blair is 0800 hours. In case you are flying out on the afternoon flight, you can request the hotel for a late check - out and they will provide the room subject to availability. Or else you will be requested to check - out by 0800 hours and spend time in the hotel campus. Alternatively, you can book for extra tour with us.
  • Please note that our tour escorts are not permitted to do guiding at some of the sight seeing spots. So you are requested to hire professional guides for sight-seeing at the Cellular Jail and while in the Ross Island.
  • Please carry swim suit, towel and change dress while going to North Bay, Jollybuoy Island, Red Skin Island and Elephanta Beach.

Age Limit

The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into the hotels empaneled with us. Accompanying children must be under 12 years of age. They will be charged as per the child tariff. Children above 12 years are charged adult rates. Kids under the age of 5, sharing a bed with their parents in the same room, are normally not charged. Hotels will, however, levy a meal supplement charge for children. But few hotels charge charges for the child from 02 years.

Check-In Timings

Each hotel has its own check - in and check - out timings. Early check- in or late check-out is subject to availability and you may need to pay extra for it.

Tariff

The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, pl. note that it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips. The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.

Photo-ID

Some hotels require you to furnish a valid photo-id proof at the time of check-in. Documents that you can carry as id proofs like PAN card, driving license, passport or voter's ID card. We request you to carry any one of these to avoid inconvenience.

Food Served

Food as per the Meal plan will be served by the restaurant at the respective hotel. The Hotel has the sole descrition to decide the menu and the way the meal is served, either A-La-Carte or Buffet.


Deposit & Payment Policy

Deposit

Following the receipt of the booking request from you, we will be blocking the rooms and sending you an email confirmation. This usually takes 02 (two) days. On this confirmation alert, you are required to deposit the total dues within 05 (five) working days for us to BOOK the accomodation for you. We will confirm your booking within 02 (two) working days from the receipt of your payment.

Payment

All payments can be made by Credit card, Cash, Cheque, Demand Draft or Bank Transfer. We accept Visa and Master cards. Alternatively, payment can also be deposited in the nearest branch of Axis Bank Limited or State Bank of India in your city. You are requested to inform us about the depositing once it is done.

Please Note:

However, if your bookings are for the stay between 01 December to 15 January, no refund will be made for the cancellations.

Andaman Exotic Holidays charges a separate service fee of Rs 1500 for all cancellations.
